‘ Kapurush Mahapurush’ disappointed the audience

One of the recent movies to hit the Bengali theatres is Kapurush Mahapurush. The film has Rudraneel Ghosh in the lead. The other cast of the film includes Dipankar Dey, Kharaj Mukherjee, Dwijen Banerjee, Beauty, Pooja, Writam, Chhabi Talukdar, Bandana Dutta and Debraj Roy. The film has been directed and written by Wrishi Mitali.The film was released on 5th August 2011. Wrishi Mitali’s ‘ Kapurush Mahapurush’ is the greatest celluloid insult to the father of Bengali movies Satyajit Ray, who had made a feature film with the same title in the year 1965.
The film has been produced by Sampendu Rakshit and the story of the film is written by Mitali Rakshit. The film revolves round the misadventures of Neptune (Rudraneel Ghosh) a worthless single child of his parents who keeps his parents continually worried about his whereabouts. Neither the story of the film nor the background scores could impress the audience!
